Netrium (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is provided for use in its current form. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Service. By using Netrium, you agree to the practices described below.
VPN Data
- We do not record, monitor, or store the contents of your VPN traffic.
- We do not alter your VPN data in any way.
- We do not sell or share sensitive user data with third parties.
Netrium is a decentralized VPN client. Users connect to servers they configure themselves. We do not provide centrally managed servers. This means that you, as the user, maintain full control and responsibility for your VPN traffic. The application only establishes the connection and does not interfere with the data passing through it.
Data Collection
Netrium collects only minimal technical data required to improve the stability and functionality of the app. This may include:
- Crash reports (such as number of crashes and technical error details)
- Basic diagnostic and usage information (e.g., time spent on specific app screens)
Such reports are processed with the help of third-party tools (e.g., Sentry) for the sole purpose of bug fixing and performance improvements. No personally identifiable information is collected or disclosed.
Device Identifiers
On Android, the app may store a hardware identifier (HWID) and a push notification token needed for delivering notifications. On iOS, the app will only collect a push notification token if the user explicitly grants permission to receive notifications. If permission is denied, no token is created or stored.
Additionally, when requesting subscription-related data (for example, fetching available server lists), the app may send a device identifier (HWID) and device model in HTTP headers. This acts as a custom identifier for managing subscriptions and connections. Users can disable HWID sharing in settings — if disabled, HWID will no longer be transmitted.
Advertising
Netrium contains no advertising features and does not engage in monetization through ad networks. There are no plans to introduce such practices in the future.
Children’s Privacy
Netrium does not collect personally identifiable information from users of any age. In particular, we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
Links to External Sites
The app may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites, and encourage you to review their Privacy Policies separately.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be posted on this page, and the updated policy becomes effective as soon as it is published. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.
